Peggy Ann Sturdivant, 81, of El Dorado, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Born June 11, 1932 in El Dorado she was the daughter of Fred and Blanch Williams Templeton. She was a 1949 graduate of Junction City High School and played on the basketball team. She later graduated from Capital Women’s Business College in Little Rock. She was retired after 30 years employment with Sears.

Mrs. Sturdivant had been a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, J. W. Sturdivant, a sister, Hazel Sharp, father and mother-in-law, Jim Bob and Florence Sturdivant, and two brothers-in-law, Proby Sharp and Gene Cunningham.

Survivors include her daughter Callie Caldwell (Curtis) of El Dorado, a sister, Helen Cunningham of El Dorado, two granddaughters, Jennifer Stegall Noble of Calion and Samantha Young of El Dorado and a great-grandson, Kaleb Scott Noble.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Olive Branch Cemetery with Rev. Duane Amis officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends at Young’s from 4:00 P. M. to 6:00 P. M. Monday evening.
