January 7, 1957 - February 9, 2013
Amy J. Killingsworth, age 56 of El Dorado, passed from this life on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was born on January 7, 1957 in El Dorado to Clarence G. and Mary Lee (Harris) Hux. Amy loved to sew and do needle point. She enjoyed cooking, working crossword puzzles and especially loved to read. Amy loved all of her family, which was the light of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was so proud to have been able to be a mother to her daughter and a loving grandmother to her two grandsons. Amy was a homemaker and a member of the Harmony Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one niece, Lacey Hux and one nephew, Mike Montgomery.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Randy Killingsworth of El Dorado; one daughter, Kaylee Killingsworth and her fiancé Tim of El Dorado; two grandsons, Timothy and Gunner Taylor both of El Dorado; two sisters, Joan J. Bell and her husband Eugene of Strong and Janey Endel and her husband Bennie of El Dorado; two brothers, Garry Hux and his wife Betty of El Dorado and Russell Hux of Lawson; mother in law, Joy V. Killingsworth of Cedar Creek, TX; three nieces, Phena Loftin, Kristan Vaughn and Holly Murphree; two nephews, Ben Endel and Cody Hux; three great nieces; two great nephews; two great great nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday at Olive Branch Methodist Church.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Olive Branch Methodist Church with Bro. Sam Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
