Will A. Gage, 75 years old of 1202 East Main, Van Buren, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 30 in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Crawford county, he was born July 10, 1892 in Arkansas and was a retired farmer and dairy operator. He was a member of the First Baptist church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Millie Gage; four sons, Clifford Gage of Santa Ana, Calif., Floyd Gage of Lakewood, Calif., Lloyd Gage of Mountain Valley, Calif. and Leo Gage of Costa Mesa, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. J. J. Buell and Mrs. Vera Kast, both of Victorville, Calif.; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The funeral service was held in Fentress Mortuary chapel Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with Bruch Cushman, pastor of First Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Newberry Chapel cemetery.
Casket bearers were Paul Hurst, Charles Vines, Vernon Matlock, W. N. Fry, D. M. Langston, Jack White and Ferrell Swearingen.
Honorary pallbearers were Herman Capelle, C. J. Franklin, Basil Moody, Sam Tittle, Virgil Smith, Claude Smith, R. G. Chitwood, DeWitt Bates and Noil Myers.
