Mrs. Dorothy Mae Ogles, age 87, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Friday, October 13, 2017, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Ogles was born May 14, 1930, in Monticello, Arkansas, and had lived in Texarkana for many years. She was a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church, and was retired from child care and the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Lee Ogles, and a grandchild, Amanda Hoover.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sue and Steve Johnson and Paula Perry of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Annette and Kevin Cox of Richardson, Texas, three grandchildren, Shane and his wife Julie Johnson, Jennifer Perry, and Trey and his wife Jessica Perry, and one great-grandchild, Cayden Johnson.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P. M. Monday at the Andrews Chapel Cemetery, Wilmar, Arkansas, with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until 4 PM Sunday.
The family will be at the home of Sue and Steve Johnson, #4 Lauren Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas.
