June 23, 1952 - January 26, 2016
William Johnnie Green, III was born to William and Mary Green in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on June 23, 1952. He lived a simple life and was known as a gentleman, a scholar and a friend to many. William met and married Ms. Beverly Roland and to this union one son, William Jerel Green, was born.
On Tuesday, January 26, 2016, he transitioned from his earthly life into eternal rest at Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother.
In addition to his son, he leaves to cherish his memory his father William J. Green, Jr., two sisters: Paula Crain (Gregory) and Carolyn Tucker; four brothers: Henry Green (Kellie), Tim Green (Arlene), Paul Green, and Mark Green. He was the proud grandfather of Whitney Calhoun and Danielle Green and great-grandfather of Arielle, Trayveon, Chasity and Chase all of whom are blessed with fond memories of their grandfather.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Eureka Baptist Church 721 Gaines Avenue with Pastor, Dr. Steve Lake, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery Hot Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 AM until funeral time at the church. services are provided by Brandon’s Mortuary, Inc.
The family will be at 122 Summit Street, Hot Springs, Arkansas
