Robert Henderson
CSA
Company H 10th Missouri Infantry
Civil War Confederate
April 3, 1844 - March 30, 1917
Robert was the first son of Osema Singleton. The identity of his mother remains uncertain. Family members do not think that Osema's wife, Cynthia, is the mother of Robert or his brother William. However, this needs to be investigated.
Robert moved with his family to Missouri in the 1850s. He grew up in Pulaski Co., near Crocker. He enlisted in the Confederate army in the Civil War along with his father and brother William. They served in the 10th MO Infantry Co. H. Robert served all the way to the end.
He was married twice. His second wife was Mary Elizabeth Chandler. They were married on March 17th, 1872.
