May 12, 1895 - February 4, 1930
Mamie May Gladden died on February 4, 1931, from T.B. She was a homemaker. Services were held at Bushmaier Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on February 5, 1931, with Reverend Haley conducting the service. Interment was at Bushmaier Cemetery as per Ocker Funeral Home records.
Mamie May (Wood) married Eddie "Ed" Colby Gladden on December 28, 1914, in Crawford County, Van Buren, Arkansas.
Within this union there were five Children:
George Gladden, Lucy Agnes (Gladden) Wilhite, William Gladden, Mary Bell (Gladden) Collins and Hoy Edward Gladden.
The parents of Mamie Mae (Wood) Gladden were: Robert Black Wood and JoAnna "Annie" Titsworth. Her sisters were; Carrie Rachel (Wood) Yakley and Clara (Wood) Smith;
her brother was Clide B. Wood.
The maternal grandparents were; Darcas (Kilgore) and Christopher Columbus Titsworth; paternal grandparents, Wiley H. and Elizabeth (Echols) Wood; maternal great-grandparents, William Peyton and Sarah A. (Blackwell) Titsworth; paternal great-grandparents; Wiley P. and Rachel (Inglet) Wood, Shapley P. and Sarah (Sumner) Echols Sr.;maternal great-great grandparents, John and Sarah (Thompson) Titsworth; paternal great-great
grandparents, Joshua and Nancy (Brown) Echols Sr.;
great-great-great grandparents, Joshua and Mary (Gray) Echols and great-great-great-great grandparents, Abraham and Sarah (Hubbard) Echols.
On the 1930 Census she is listed as Marny M. Gladden, living in Van Buren, Crawford County, AR with Edward and all five children.
