Mrs. Velva Pearson, 72 years old, Alma, Arkansas, died Friday night, November 10, 1967 at her home. Born December 4, 1894 at Gridley, Kansas, she was the daughter of James J. and Edith Smith Richardson and was the wife of the late W. T. Pearson. She was a member of the Christian Science church.
Survivors are two brothers, Dick of Independence, Kansas, and Charles of Tampa, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Anderson of La Jolla, California.
The graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bolton cemetery north of Alma. John Shoemaker rector of Trinity Episcopal church, was the officiating minister. Funeral arrangements were directed by Ocker Funeral Home.
