August 30, 1940 - December 23, 2016
Enah Lou (Nowlin) Falkenrath, age 76, born on August 30, 1940, died in her home on Friday, December 23, 2016. Enah was born and raised in Fordyce until the age of ten when her family moved to Camden; where she graduated from Camden High School in 1958.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church and participated in many prayer groups over the years. She was a woman of strong faith and enjoyed listening to gospel music. In 2006, after twenty-seven years, Enah retired from Walmart where she developed life long friendships with her co-workers. Enah enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including working puzzles, hunting, fishing, bird watching, and traveling to Texas to visit family and watch the Texas Rangers play baseball.
Enah was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Falkenrath; her parents, Clyde Nowlin and Bernice Hornaday; and a brother, Billy Wayne Nowlin. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Leigh) Lusby of Camden and Lydia (Mark) LaVarnway of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Hollie Lusby and Heather Lusby of Dallas, TX, Kelsey LaVarnway and Troy LaVarnway of Dallas, TX, Leeanne Hasara of Springfield, IL, Wesley (Jessica) Honnell of Russellville, AR, Lauren Derrick of Camden, AR; four great-grandchildren; a niece, Sharon Nowlin Hagins and a nephew, Greg Nowlin, both of Jacksonville, FL.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 Friday. Graveside services will be held 10:00 Saturday at Ebenezer Cemetery in Fordyce with Brother Seth Easterling officiating.
