Clayton Rystrom, 88, of Pearcy passed in peace holding his pastor’s hand on May 2, 2016. He was born on September 6, 1927 in York, Nebraska to the late C.A. and Beulah Rystrom. He graduated from Rice University and then went on to the University of Houston where he obtained his doctorate degree. He was a member of Piney Grove Methodist Church and the Hot Springs Country Club. Clayton was an intelligent man and worked as a corporate attorney before retirement. He loved to golf, enjoyed wildlife and nature, but above all else he cherished his family. Meeting Clayton in heaven are his son, Dr. Eric Rystrom; sister, Shirley Welker and brother-in-law, Harvin Lewis. His loving survivors include his wife of 67 years, Jeanne Rystrom; daughters, Marcia Allbritton (Ed) and Kim Howard; grandsons, Chris Allbritton (Shawnna), Mike Allbritton (Kelli), Brett Masterson, R.J. Masterson (LeeAnn); granddaughters, Kelley Allbritton, Shannon Young (Tony); great grandchildren, Cole, Alexis, River, Taylor, Claire and Conner Allbritton, Andrew, Dustin and Erica Masterson; special niece Arden Hyatt (Cory) as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family.
