Arnethia Berry Tucker, 88, of Hot Springs, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2015. She was born Jan. 22, 1927 in Emerson to the late Lannie and Daisy Robinson Berry.

She was a faithful member of St. Mark Baptist Church. Arnethia retired from the health care field having worked for several nursing homes, hospitals and private homes.
She was also predeceased by her siblings, Opal, Ivory May, Ellonia, Lannie “L.B.,” Archie, and Retha Mae; three children, Ruthie Lee, Theodore and Andrew Wayne Tucker; and two grandchildren, Ledell Tucker Jr. and Aniko Bryant.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy Thompson of Hot Springs, Barbara McDaniel of Trumann, Ledell Tucker and Michael Tucker, all of Seneca, S.C.; a daughter-in-law, 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and extended family, and special friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 at St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent Ave., with Rev. Donald R. Crosely Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery, under the direction of Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services of Hot Springs.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14 at the funeral home. The family will be at 931 Malvern Ave.
