Wendell Harve Skelton, 85, of Chester died Thursday, July 3, 2014, in his home.
He was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Fort Smith.
He was a retired truck driver for Hickory Springs in Fort Smith, a former air tech for Ken Whalen Heat and Air in Fort Smith, a Navy veteran, a member of Chester Freewill Baptist Church and the widower of Johna Skelton.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Chester Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Vaught Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Alma.
He is survived by a daughter, Tina Hall of Mountainburg; a sister, Sue Rusher of Huntington; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Watson, David Burkhart, David Morgan, Jesse Pottridge, Hung Vu and Lloyd Seratt.
