HORSESHOE BEND — James C. Lesar, 84, of Horseshoe Bend, died Saturday, Dec. 29, in St. Louis.
He was retired from Ralston Purina Corp. and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Lesar of Horseshoe Bend; two daughters, Kay Roe of Horseshoe Bend and Jean Gayer of St. Louis; and four grandchildren, Jennifer White, James Roe, Mollie Gayer and Paul Gayer.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Horseshoe Bend, under the direction of Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood, Mo. Burial will be private.
