Lois Frances Bassham, (Granny B to her grandkids), 101, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 in a local nursing home.
She was born July 7, 1915 in New Castle, Texas to the late Ada Hardin Brogdon and Noble James Brogdon

She was a retired Teacher, a member, Elder and Deacon of Mountainburg Presbyterian Church, Past Matron of Chapter 194 Order of the Eastern Star, member of National Teachers Assoc. and Arkansas Retired Teachers.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harry Milton Bassham and son, Terry Bassham of Mountainburg and sisters, Georgia Farris and Dot Bush.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Mountainburg Presbyterian Church with interment in Vaught Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

She is survived by her son, James Bassham and wife Judy of Franklin, TN; daughter-in-law, Joyce Bassham of Mountainburg, AR; 4 grandchildren, Wren Creager, Marta Anderson, Andy Bassham and Amber Hopwood and 8 great grandchildren, Rachel, Theo, Daisy and Gracie Creager, Eli, Nate and Brady Bassham and Morgan Hopwood.

Pallbearers will be Andy Bassham, Todd Marshell, Daniel Hopwood, Mike Jeremiah, Bobby Willroth and Bill Coleman.
