Mary Jane Hicks Williams, 71 of Star City, passed away Thursday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born November 12, 1946 in Lynn, MS to the late Curtis and Rebecca Reese Hicks. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. Also preceding her in death were her husband, James Donald Williams; grandson, Paul Curtis Quick, Jr.; and brother, Mark Hicks. Survivors include son, Paul Curtis Quick, Sr. of Mississippi; daughter, Theresa (Thomas) Watson of Star City; brother, Larry O'Neal White of Greenville, MS; 3 sisters, Shirley Weeks of Shaw, MS, Brenda Britt of Clarksdale, MS and Ann Ivey of Quitman, MS; 5 grandchildren, Jessica (Johnnie) Stansifer, Felicia (Ricky) Edgin, Bailey Watson, Breanna Barrett and Destiny Quick; and 2 great-grandchildren, Mia Edgin and Mason Edgin. Graveside services are 4:00PM Sunday at Mt. Home Cemetery with Brother Rickey Harrison officiating. Visitation is 2:00-4:00PM Sunday at Griffin Funeral Service. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
