**Obituary for Mir Reen Raiford
Mir Reen Raiford, 82 of Pine Bluff died Sunday at White Hall Health and Rehab. She was born November 20, 1932 in Desha County to the late, John Henry and Lula Mixon Higgins. She was a retired Clerk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, L.H. Raiford, four brothers,Rod Higgins, Robert Higgins, Francis Higgins and Diddle Higgins and a sister, Margaret Moss. Survivors include two sons, Danny (Betty) Raiford and Wade Raiford of Pine Bluff, a daughter, Karen (Curtis) Jackson of Altheimer, two brothers, Bill Higgins of Monticello, Wayne Higgins of Texarkana, Ar. Three sisters, Sarah Kendricks and Dolly May of McGehee and Cookie Barnett of Monticello. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Daniel Raiford, Derek Raiford, Lucas Raiford and two great grandchildren, Izabella Raiford and Raylyn Raiford. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Mt. Home Cemetery near Star City with Bro. Sammy Alberson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
