**Obituary for Jerry
Jerry Paul Woolverton, age 65 of Star City, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2013. He was a loving husband, father and uncle. He was born on November 28, 1947. Jerry served as staff sergeant of the US Army, he was also a Vietnam Veteran. He served for twelve years, then went to work at the Pine Bluff Arsenal in 1983 and retired in 2011. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife. Preceding him in death were his parents; Paul and Billie Woolverton, 3 brothers; Tommy Woolverton, Mike Woolverton and Tim Woolverton, and 1 sister Betty Jane Woolverton. He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Gracie Faye Hamilton Woolverton of Star City, son; Jerry Paul Woolverton, Jr. of Texas, 2 sisters; Sarah Wylie and Cindy Woolverton, both of Dallas, TX and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services are 3:00PM Friday at Mt. Home Cemetery near Star City with Bro. J.C. Patterson officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Michael Woolverton, Zack Woolverton, Jared Woolverton, Teddy Spivey, Johnny Dollar, Louie Crowder, Byron Pharr and Tracey Garrett. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Harper,Jeff Holloway and L.A. Anderson. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.

**Obituary For Gracie
Gracie Faye Hamilton Woolverton, 80 of Star City, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Gardner Nursing Center. She was born September 1, 1939 in Mt. Home (Lincoln County Community) to the late V.O. and Loice Womack Hamilton. She was a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church; was a homemaker; graduate of Star City High School; and enjoyed cross stitching. Also preceding her in death were her husband of 40 years, Jerry Paul Woolverton, which was in the Army and they lived abroad in Germany for several years; infant son, Dennis Ray Chastain; and infant twin sister, Nettie Fern Hamilton. Survivors include her cousins, Sallie Irene "Sister" Burr Sanders, William "Nephew" (Theresa) Sanders, all of Star City; Byron (Marian) Pharr and Deborah (Billy) Winders, all of Monticello; many, many other cousins; and extended family in Texas. Graveside services are 2:00PM Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Mt. Home Cemetery near Star City with Bro. Jason Goodwin officiating. Visitation is 12:00-1:30PM Thursday at Griffin Funeral Service. Only 50 people allowed in funeral home at one time. Masks are required inside the building. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
