Vernon "Jack" Morehart, 90, of Russellville, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1920, at Little Rock, to Vernon Hobert and Bertha Marie Pierce Morehart. He was a former auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, a United States Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion, a 32nd Degree Mason, member of the Mary Williams Masonic Lodge, and a member of Boulder Avenue Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter.

Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Roxie Morehart; a daughter; a sister, Dorothy Semler of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011, at the Shinn Chapel. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boulder Avenue Christian Church, Post Office Box 842, Russellville, Arkansas 72811.

Roxie E. Morehart, age 90, of Russellville, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born on December 4, 1927, in Jerusalem to John and Zular Wiley Cato.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon "Jack" Morehart; a daughter, Regina Lynn Lucas; three brothers, Clarence, Lester, and Carl Cato; and two sisters, Ovie Eubanks and Hazel Bradford.

Survivors include two grandsons, Justin and Josh Lucas of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 E. Parkway Suite 3, Russellville, Arkansas 72802.
