March 31, 1885 - January 15, 1968
Mrs. Lizzie Dorris, aged 82, of Camden, widow of Marion L. Dorris died Early this morning (Monday) in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Rorris had lived here for the past forty years and was a Baptist. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Houston Mullins of Camden; six sons, Elzie, Jack, Dan and Junior Dorris of Camden, Ira Dorris of Dallas, Tex., and Douglas Dorris, Pine Bluff; three brothers, Cargal Ethridge, Kelipe and Kelly Ethridge all of Marshall, Texas; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Proctor Funeral Chapel with burial in Chambersville Cemetery near Thornton. (Camden News - January 15, 1968)
