*James E Strickland was born on March 3, 1874, in Jefferson, Arkansas, the son of Isabell and Edward. He married Allie May Balentine on August 19, 1894. They had two children during their marriage. He died on January 28, 1965, in McRae, Arkansas, at the age of 90, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
When Allie May Balentine was born on December 13, 1872, her father, James, was 35, and her mother, Vizella, was 22. She married James E Strickland on August 19, 1894. They had two children during their marriage. She died on February 7, 1956, in De Soto City, Florida, at the age of 83, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
