Reba Light, 75, of Searcy died October 22, 2011 at Searcy Healthcare. She was born July 13, 1936 in Letona to the late Oscar and Pearl Smalley Free.

Mrs. Light was a loving mother. She was a seamstress in early years and enjoyed sewing. Some of her other hobbies were yodeling, talking on the phone, fishing, and camping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Light; one daughter, Nancy Overstreet, one brother Omar Free, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is survived by two sons, Arnold Light and wife Glenda of Bradford; and Glen Light of Judsonia, two daughters; Sherrie Dye and husband Don of Bald Knob, and Phylecia Martin and husband Randy of Beebe; two brothers, Royce Free of Letona, and Noah Free of Searcy; as well as eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, October 25, from 6-8 p.m. at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Harmony Cemetery.
