Zelpha Eunice Beebe Truman, 101, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, July 13, 2020.
She was born May 13, 1919, in Painesville, Ohio, to Arthur Beebe and Chloe Williams Beebe. In 1937 she graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville. She was a volunteer at several hospitals including Bates Hospital for 10 years. She lived overseas in Luxembourg for five years and Isfahan, Iran, for three years when her husband worked for Dupont Company. She retired to Bella Vista in 1979 where she enjoyed golfing with the 5 Hole golf group and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Truman; son, Jon Truman; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by one sister, Marilyn Malenchini.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, July 21, at Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery with the Rev. Jeanne Williams and the Rev. Brenda Wideman officiating.
