Mrs. Vera Mae Riddle, Rt. 2, Winslow, died Dec. 19 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born at Batesville, she was the daughter of Henry and Jane Beard Nixon, a member of Winslow United Methodist Church and a member of Clyde Chapter of Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Riddle of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Vera Jean Sanders of Garland, Texas; one brother, Ike Nixon of Memphis, Tenn., and a grandson, Curt Sanders of Garland, Texas.
Services were at 10 a.m. today in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with Jack Stockberger officiating. Burial was in Brentwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Arliegh Robinson, Gray Peek, L.H. Benekie, Mike Hollingsworth, Ila Anderson and Mac McQueen.
