LaVerne Domon Reed, 92, of Pine Bluff, AR went to be with the Lord August 20, 2020. Born July 22, 1928 in Pine Bluff, AR, she was the daughter of Henry and Essie Hudson Domon.
Preceding her in death was the love of her life, her husband of 67 years, Ray Reed Sr.; three daughters, Alice Faye, Francis Mae and Joyce LaVerne Reed; her parents; seven brothers, Adolph and Willis Tucker, Harry, Joe, Albert, Alva and Olen Domon; and two sisters, Bonnie Domon Tatum and Henrietta Domon Rhoden; a granddaughter, Samantha Jane Reed and a daughter-in-law, Dawna (Ray) Reed Jr.
She was a homemaker and a Christian. She taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of White Hall Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed going to church traveling and spending time with her family. She was looking forward to the time she would go home to her heavenly Father's house
Survivors include four sons, Ray Reed of Burleson, TX, James (Wanda) Reed of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Mike (Patti) Reed of Panama City, Florida and Delbert (Leigh) Reed of Houston, TX; two daughters, Carolyn Sue Reed Tucker (Eddie) and Donna Reed Edwards (Ralph) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren, with 3 more great-great-grandchildren on the way; nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.
Graveside services will be at Memorial Park at White Hall, Monday August 24, 2020 at 10 am with Brother Dean Caldwell officiating. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Due to covid19 we will not be having visitation. If you would like to show your respect you are welcome to go by Ralph Robinson and Son in Pine Bluff from 2:00-4:30 p.m. on August 23, 2020
