Erma Louise Willis, 66, of El Dorado, died on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Northern Louisiana Medical Center of Ruston, La. Born on March 6, 1949, she was the daughter of F.B. Willis and Erma Jean Kilgore Phifer. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church. She attended El Dorado High School and she was an licensed cosmologist for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her step-father, Garland Phifer.
Survivors include three sons, Geren Willis and Dedrick Willis, both of El Dorado, and Rico Jackson, of Butner, N.C.; one daughter, Tonya Smart-Hill, of El Dorado; seven brothers, Garland Phifer, the Rev. Daniel Willis, the Rev. Garland Willis, Jerome Phifer, Robert Louis Willis, all of El Dorado, Frances Shears, of Denver, Colo., and Albert Richmond, of San Francisco, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Berkley, of San Jose, Calif., and Margaret Jean Williams, of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. James Baptist Church with Bishop George Calloway officiating. Burial will be in Lott Burial Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home Inc., of El Dorado.
