Shirley Ann Waller was born May 25, 1947, in El Dorado, AR, to the late Major Bluford Jr., and Ocielean Bowman Bluford.

Shirley was married to the late Charles B. Waller.

Shirley was employed at the Medical Center of South Arkansas for over 35 years until her health started to fail in 2005.

Shirley accepted Christ at an early age in life, she was a member of the Church of God and Christ, and she knew where her help came from, the Lord.

Shirley enjoyed being around her family and friends enjoying life to the fullest. She and her sisters were known as the “Golden Girls”.

Shirley Ann Waller departed this life on Monday, October 5, 2020, at the Baptist Health Hospice Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Shirley is preceeded in death by her husband, Charles B Waller, her parents, Major and Ocielean Bluford, her brother Major Bluford III Boobie”, one sister, Evette Cox.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: two daughters, Valerie Carr (Eric), Tina Levingston, two sisters, Rosemary Armstrong and Betty Bluford, one aunt, Ellen Jackson, a special niece, Laurie Waller (Greg), six grandkids, Thirteen great grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss her dearly.
