Stella Roberts, age 64, passed away on January 15, 2021 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born November 15, 1956 in Claremore, OK to William and Marie (Toolate) Buzzard. Stella married Harold “Bo” Roberts on February 19, 1972.
Stella was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nannie Grandma. She had a spunky personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. She enjoyed reading, visiting family and friends, and yearly family beach vacations. All whom loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, and undying love and care for them.
She was preceded in death by her son Ruston Roberts; parents, William and Marie (Toolate) Buzzard; sisters, Mary Smith and Becky Johnson; brothers, Grover Buzzard, Ray Buzzard and Donny Buzzard; father-in-law, Marion Roberts and mother-in-law, Maxine Roberts.
Stella is survived by her husband Harold “Bo” Roberts; son, Willie Roberts; daughter, Kannithia Brown and husband Michael; granddaughter, Kammie Yates and fiancé Tyler Swindle; granddaughter, Chesney Yates; great - nephews and niece Koda, Triton, and Keilei King; brothers, Junior Buzzard, Archie Buzzard, Eddie Buzzard and wife Donna, Bobby Buzzard and wife Kim; sister-in-law, Melba Buzzard; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Stella’s family visitation to greet friends will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00pm, January 20, 2021 at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346. Stella’s Celebration Of Life Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 1:00pm, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gravette, AR with Pastor Ed Delapp officiating. Burial is at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gravette, AR. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
