Funeral services for Willie Fields will be held Tuesday, at the Ever Green Baptist Church. He was born in Farmerville, La., the son of Abe and Amelia Aaron Fields and had lived in Arkansas for 69 years. Fields joined the Ever Green Baptist Church at an early age. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pinkie Fields; four sons, Willie Field, Jr., Anchorage, Alas., James Fields, Seattle, Wash., Lotrice Fields, Detroit, Mich., and Mack Fields, Okinawa, Japan; five daughters, Mrs. Dorthula Kand and Mrs. Marcella Pate of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Pinkie Bell Allen, Mrs. Minnie Mae Curley and Mrs. Marcaline Toliver, all of El dorado; one sister, Mrs. Jesse Mack, El Dorado; 31 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Burial will be in Lot Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home Inc. (The El Dorado Times - June 29, 1965)
