*When Walter Barnell Maddox was born on June 6, 1887, in Meriwether, Georgia, his father, Thomas, was 46 and his mother, Mary, was 39. He married Minnie B. Barrett on March 8, 1908, in Faulkner, Arkansas. They had eight children in 18 years. He died on September 12, 1982, in Quitman, Arkansas, at the age of 95, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
When Minnie B. Barrett was born on February 14, 1891, in Arkansas, her father, Allen, was 30, and her mother, Laura, was 26. She married Walter Barnell Maddox on March 8, 1908, in Faulkner, Arkansas. They had eight children in 18 years. She died on April 23, 1972, in Quitman, Arkansas, at the age of 81, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
