C. Neal Greer, 93 of Searcy, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. He was born November 21, 1916 in White County, Arkansas to the late Leroy and Nettie C. Harrison Greer. Mr. Greer was an Army WWII Veteran, a member of Honey Hill Christian Union Church in Searcy and worked for 42 years as a service technician for Coca Cola. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Fullerton Greer; three sisters, Olive Grissom; Clister Grissom; Rena Latimer; two brothers, J.D. Greer; Harold Greer.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley J. Taylor and husband, Phillip of Pocahontas; Laura C. Betts and husband, Monty of Searcy; four grandchildren, David Neal Taylor; Angie Smith; Blake Betts; Amanda Kirker; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Willie Parks and Virginia Grissom both of Searcy; one brother, Elmer Lee Greer of Searcy.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with interment at Honey Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Honey Hill Christian Union Church, 113 Emerald Lake Drive, Searcy, AR 72143.
