When Susie Ann Stroud Greer was born on August 24, 1889, in Coffey, Arkansas, her father, Daniel, was 27, and her mother, America, was 27. She married William Alfred Greer on September 26, 1909. They had five children in 15 years. She died on May 25, 1981, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 91.
