Lloyd Miles Langford, age 76, of Searcy, passed away May 22, 2010. He was born in Searcy on February 23, 1934 to the late Sidney Lloyd Langford and Ruth Miles Langford.
He was a member of West Race Baptist Church in Searcy where he served as a Deacon. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was in the US Army Reserves. He was an area sales manager for Coca-Cola and retired after 28 years. He was currently employed by the City of Searcy.
Miles is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katie Ghent Langford; his son, Danny Miles Langford of Searcy and his wife, Kathi; two grandsons, Devin and Drew Langford; a granddaughter, Olevia Watters; two sisters Maxine Boggs of Searcy and Jane Von Boeckman of Horn Lake, Mississippi; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held at West Race Baptist Church at 9 A.M., Wednesday, May 26, 2010. A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. with Brother Jackie Manasco officiating. Burial will follow at Honey Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Race Baptist Church Building Fund.
