Albert Lloyd "Sonny" Peters, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Paris.
He was born February 12, 1954 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was 59 years old.
Sonny was a mechanic. His favorite hobbies were fixing up old cars and going fishing.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 11th, at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
Officiating the service will be the Rev. Tammy Frederick.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon; one daughter, Jennifer Brittian and husband Michael of Paris; two sons, Wayne Turpin of Paris and Kevin Brock and wife Tricia of Joplin, Missouri; his mother, Mary Farris of Paris; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brittian, Robert Perkins, Wayne Turpin, Kevin Brock, Billy Shaver, and Justin Brittian.

Sharon L. Peters, 64 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 in Paris.
She was born on May 30, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri to her parents James Marvin and Dulcie Virginia "Burke" Riggs.
She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Assembly of God Church in Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Virginia Riggs, her husband of 36 years Albert "Sonny" Peters and one sister, Deborah Kaye Squire.
Sharon is survived by her son, Wayne Turpin of Kansas City, Missouri; one step-son, Kevin Brock and wife Tricia of Joplin, Missouri; one daughter, Jennifer Peters-Brittian of Paris, Arkansas; one sister, Dee Ann Bunch of Paris, Arkansas; two brothers, James Marvin Riggs Jr. and wife Cynthia of Kansas City, Kansas; Daniel Clifton Riggs and wife Vicki of Missouri; eight grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A Graveside Funeral Service and Burial will be at McVay Cemetery in Paris, MO
