Hazel Reames Ball, 88 of El Dorado, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born February 7, 1927, to Henry and Henrietta Reames in Wesson, AR.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Hazel was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband’s paint contracting business.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Henry Reames and Henrietta Brantley; her loving husband of 47 years, Buphord Ball, and sister, Hattie Faye Reames.

Survivors include her three sons, Jim Ball and his wife, Virginia of Magnolia, Ken Ball and his wife, LaDonna of Rogers, Tom Ball and his wife Sandy of Garland, TX; sister, Hilda Boger and her husband Jim of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Christopher Ball of Garland, TX, Rachel Ball of Garland, TX, and Kaylin Matejek and her husband Dylan of San Diego, CA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Young’s Funeral Directors.

A celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Alan Womack and Rev. Greg Tucker officiating. Private interment will be held at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
