*When John Joannes Andreas Hilger was born on June 12, 1802, his father, Joannis, was 22 and his mother, Ottiliae, was 23. He married Catherina Juengling Yingling on May 1, 1826, in Eppstein, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. They had 15 children in 23 years. He died on December 7, 1852, in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 50, and was buried there.
When Catherina Juengling Yingling and her twin sister Katharina were born on January 12, 1807, in Flomersheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, their father, Johann, was 22 and their mother, Elisabetha, was 26. She married John Joannes Andreas Hilger on May 1, 1826, in Eppstein, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. They had 15 children in 23 years. She died on July 21, 1878, in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 71, and was buried there.
