PARIS — James O. Jones, 62, of Paris died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in his home. He was born March 19, 1942, in Monticello. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God in Paris with burial at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Paris.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; three daughters, Ann Goad of Monticello, Carolyn White of Vilonia and Audrey George of Paris; two sons, Edgar Jones of Charleston and Oscar Jones of Paris; six sisters, Hattie Olenger of Calico Rock, Joyce Jones of Russellville, Doris McDaniel of Star City, and Carolyn Courtney and Cathrine and Janie Jones, all of Pine Bluff; four brothers, Ray Jones of Dardanelle, Clyde and Paul Jones, both of Gould, and Jimmy Jones of Pine Bluff; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matthew and Timothy Goad, Richie Jones, Gary Hopper and Edgar and Wesley Brandon.

Edna Ruth Jones, passed away April 19, 2013. She was born Feb. 2, 1943, to the late Huey Thomas Jackson and Edna M. Grimes.

Edna's thoughts and joys were revolved around her beloved family and her endless faith in Jesus Christ. She was a devoted member of Freewill Baptist Church of Paris, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Jones and one sister, Annis Webb.

She is survived by one sister, Judy Jones of Dumas; three brothers, James Jackson of Paris, Charles Jackson of Booneville and Roy Jackson of Paris; three daughters, Ann Burnett of Star City, Carolyn Holleman of Conway, and Audrey George of Paris, Ark.; two sons, Oscar Jones of Paris, Ark., Edgar Jones of Charleston; and 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren along with many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at Free Will Baptist Church in Paris, AR. Services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial at McVay Cemetery.
