Winford Huckaby, 84, of Paris, Ark., died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, in Fort Smith. He was a retired coal miner and retired from Well's Furniture Store, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paris.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home in Paris with burial at McVay Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes Thorton Huckaby of Paris; three daughters, Beverly Johnson of Fort Smith, Shelby Holzman of Ozark and Pat Gleghorn of Henderson, Ark.; one sister, Ruth Street of Paris; eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Huckaby was preceded in death by one grandson and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Gary and Steve Johnson, James and Daniel Gleghorn, Brian Holzman and Jacque Morris.

Agnes Geneva (Thornton) Huckaby, 94, of Paris, Arkansas died Friday, October 29, 2010 in Paris. She was born October 12, 1916 in Greenwood, AR to her father, James Walter Thornton, Sr. and her mother, Nova Lee (Everett) Thornton. She was a homemaker and employed as a cook at Paris Elementary School for 38 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Winford Huckaby; daughter, Beverly Johnson; grandson, Charlie Hardgraves; grand-daughter, Katy Floyd and great-grandson, Matt Johnson.
She is survived by daughters, Shelby Holzman of Ozark and Pat Gleghorn of Paris; a sister, Mildred �Babe� O�Kelly of Paris; six grandchildren, Gary Don Johnson, Glenda Keller, James Gleghorn, Steve Johnson, Roxanne Redding, Brian Holzman and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November l, 2010 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with Rev. Clyde Vire and Rev. H. C. Varnadore officiating with burial in McVay Cemetery, Paris, AR under the direction of Roller Funeral Home, Paris.
