William “Bill” Treat, 85, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was born March 8, 1931, in Clay, Ark., to the late George Mason Treat and Zella Margaret Baker.

Bill was a member of Pineview Church of Christ, a United States Army Veteran, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He owned a truck stop in Albuquerque, N.M., for several years. He and his brother Derol, owned a Phillips 66 service station in Searcy.

Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law of Beebe; a daughter and son-in law of Searcy and a daughter and son-in-law of Bald Knob; one brother and sister-in-law of Pangburn; one sister of Searcy; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Grace Treat, and one daughter, Karen Susan Treat.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home with burial following at Taylor Cemetery.

Wilma Grace Treat, 80, of Searcy died November 5, 2011. She was born September 24, 1931 in Mounds, Oklahoma to the late Lewis and Beulah Wood Davenport.

She was a member of the 4 Mile Hill Church of Christ. She loved everyone and loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Suzanne, and one brother.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Treat of Searcy; one son, William Douglas and wife Shelly of Beebe; two daughters, Cathi Lynn Morris and husband Jerry of Searcy, Brenda Gail Pierpont and husband Scott of Pangburn; one special person, Laura Hullings; three sisters, Evelyn Jones of Coweda, OK, and Dorothy Rodgers and Thelma Garner both of Hardy, AR, as well as six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday November 8 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the 4 Mile Hill Church of Christ in Searcy.

Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
