*When Nellie Blasingame was born on April 10, 1888, in Searcy, Arkansas, her father, Franklin, was 31, and her mother, Martha, was 30. She married Thadieus Dale Starbuck (1886–1968) on August 9, 1904, in her hometown. They had ten children in 16 years. She died on September 10, 1932, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 44, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
