Louis Edward Craytor, 68, Springdale, died Dec. 29 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 20, 1913, at Pawhuska, Okla., he was the son of Richard and Susie Rhodus Craytor, a member of the Baptist Church and a retired employee of Bell Valley Mining Co.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bernice Smith Craytor, of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Reed and Mrs. Jess Robinson, Winslow, and Mrs. W.L. Carnes, Springdale; six nieces and seven nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Moore's Chapel with the Rev. Burton A. Miley officiating. Burial will be in Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore's.

Pallbearers will be Ray Bradley, Keith Skelton, Harold Reed, George Parrish, Dean Parrish and Earl Reed.

Bernice L. Smith Craytor, 63, Rt. 5, Springdale, died Aug. 19 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born May 12, 1914, at Winslow, she was the daughter of Arthur and Pearl Aday Smith. She was the widow of Louis Edward Craytor, who died in December 1976. They were married in 1936 and lived most of their married life in Belleville, Ill., moving to Springdale in 1976. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Belleville, Ill.

Survivors include one son, Richard Youngman, St. Luois, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Lyle (Zelma) Brown, Vancouver, Wa.; two granddaughters, two great-grandsons; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. W.L. Carnes (Maxine) of Springdale, Mrs. Lloyd Reed (Viola), and Mrs. Jesse Robinson (Audrea), both from Winslow.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville with the Rev. Burton A. Miley officiating, assisted by Clarence Warner. Burial will be in Brentwood Cemetery.
