Harry R. Denton, 80, died last night at his home in Winslow. He was a retired oil man, formerly with the Skelly Oil company. He had lived in Winslow for the past 20 years.
He was born in Manchester, Iowa in 1870.
Survivors are his wife, Emily, of the home, and one sister, Mrs. E. H. Hoyt of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Emily Beadle Denton, 79, died Saturday morning at her home near Brentwood, where she had lived for about 20 years. She was born December 14, 1872, in Altuna, Iowa, the daughter of Winfield and Ida Beadle.
Survivors are one brother, W. M. Beadle, Winslow; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Muir of Winslow, and Mrs. Bernice Palmer of Little Rock.
Funeral services are to be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon, in the Methodist Church at Winslow, by the Rev. James Burris, assisted by Mr. Scott. Burial will be in Brentwood cemetery under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel.
