Ivell Flowers, age 94 of Pangburn, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Searcy. She was born June 20, 1923 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Roy A. Howe and Josephine Ophilia Sanson Howe. Mrs. Flowers was a member of Pine View Church of Christ for many years. She loved flowers, enjoyed sending Birthday and Get-Well cards, and was always willing to bring food or give a ride to anyone that wanted one. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Smith and husband Gary of Pangburn, Tammy Feather and husband Keith of Griffithville; two brothers, Harold Howe and wife Blanche of Niles, Michigan, Auda Howe of Kokomo, Indiana; two sisters, Syble Johnston of Maryville, Tennessee, RuAnn Street and husband Bill of Judsonia; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 am at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery at Griffithville.
