Josie Ann Chandler Bailey, 85, of Eagletown, died Sunday at the home of her daughter in Broken Bow.
She was born March 21, 1907, in Sevier County, Ark.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Buck Creek Baptist Church at Eagletown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Bailey Sr., who died May 11, 1968; a stepson, Walter L. Bailey Jr., who died May 22, 1986; and a step
granddaughter, Karen Bailey Frommee, who died in Nov. of 1974.
She is survived by two sons, Clarmon Bailey and Virgil Lee Bailey, both of Eagletown; two daughters, Johnnie Lou Benton of Foreman, Ark. and Joyce Ann Hall of Broken Bow; one half brother, Charlie Chandler of Horatio; one half sister, Bertha Williamson of Horatio; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen, Ark., with Rev. Duane Blackmore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home of De Queen, Ark.
