*When Commodore Sidney Byars was born in February 1868 in Weakley, Tennessee, his father, John, was 40 and his mother, Catherine, was 41. He had two sons and one daughter with Anna Byars between 1902 and 1905. He died on July 5, 1950, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 82, and was buried in Garner, Arkansas.
