Mrs. Ann E. Hobbs, 69, of 319 S. College Ave., died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 29, 1897 in LaDonia, Tex., the daughter of Noah and Cynthia Wilson Penninton and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband Ernest Hobbs of the home; one daughter, Miss Elizabeth McAfee of Palm Desert, Calif.; one son, Frank W. McAfee of South Viet Nam; three sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Lindley of La Donia, Tex., Mrs. Florence Booth of Paris, Tex., and Mrs. Lilly Crocker of Whittier, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Brentwood Cemetery.
