Juanita Evatt Shell
of Searcy, AR
February 10, 1920 - April 24, 2013
Juanita Evatt Shell, 93, of Searcy, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was born February 10, 1920 in Vilonia, Arkansas to the late William C. and Ola Daniel Evatt.
Mrs. Shell was a homemaker, she loved quilting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, Skipbo and other board games. She was a breast cancer survivor and a lifelong member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Searcy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, H.M. Shell; a son, Roger Shell; a brother, W.C. Evatt; and a sister, Loleta Whisnant.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Billy Shell of Searcy; a daughter, Betty Williams (Jack) of Gold Canyon, Arizona; a sister, Avinell Childers of Sidon, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tony Shell (Joanna), Sheila Shell, Stephanie Paladini (Matt), Michael Hubbard (Joanne), Michelle Nelson (Steve) and Suzanne Hawker (Greg); 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 28, 2013, 2:00-4:00pm at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home (501)268-3546, funeral service will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Randall Beaty and Pastor Jimmy Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Pickens Chapel Cemetery.
