Louise Evatt, 85, of Searcy, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010. She was born Wednesday, September 9, 1925, in Rosebud, AR, to the late Aaron Chester and Ida (Debusk) Daniel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. "Dub" Evatt, Jr., three sisters, two brothers, and two great granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca Spraker. She was a member of the Pickens Chapel Church of the Nazarene, retired from the Harding bookstore, and enjoyed her grandchildren and jigsaw puzzles.
Mrs. Evatt is survived by two daughters, Linda Ray and her husband, Ronald, of Vicksburg, MS and Judy Williams and her husband, Garry, of Searcy; three grandchildren, Chris Williams of Venus, TX, Daniel Williams of Banks, AR, and Sharon Spraker and her husband, Mark, of Mt. Juliet, TN; and two great grandchildren, Miranda and Michael Spraker, both of Mt. Juliet, TN.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2010, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 23, 2010, in the Chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, with Bro. Paul Hazelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Pickens Chapel Cemetery.

W. C. "Dub" Evatt, Jr., age 83 of Searcy, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in Searcy. He was born Saturday, June 14, 1924 in Vilonia, Arkansas to William C. Evatt and Ola (Daniel) Evatt.
He was a member of the Pickens Chapel Church of the Nazarene, an electrical foreman at Harding University for 26 years, and a World War II U.S. Marine Veteran who enjoyed his grandchildren and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Evatt; two daughters, Linda Ray and husband Ronald of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Judy Williams and husband Garry of Searcy; two sisters, Juanita Shell of Searcy, Avinell Childers and husband Horace of Sidon; one brother-in-law, George Ray Whisnant of Searcy; three grandchildren, Chris Williams of Venus, Texas, Daniel Williams of Banks, Arkansas, Sharon Spraker and husband Mark of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and two great-grandchildren, Miranda and Michael Spraker of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Loleta Whisnant; and two great-granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca Spraker.
Visitation is Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Pickens Chapel Cemetery.
