Deric Christopher Whiteman, 30, of Searcy passed away Wednesday, September 12th. He was born March 12, 1988 in Searcy, Arkansas to James Whiteman and Tammy (Harden) Chambers.
Deric loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. He spent most of his weekends fishing. However, he also enjoyed training dogs to duck hunt especially his faithful dog, Deuce. He was a loving son, brother, and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Deric will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; mother, Tammy Chambers (Gary) of McRae and father, James Whiteman; one brother, Sean Whiteman (Kerry Krell) of North Little Rock; one half-sister, Angie Smithson (Mike) of Oklahoma; two stepbrothers, William Chambers of McRae, and Kyle Chambers of Judsonia; one stepsister, Rachel Kent of Connecticut and his faithful dog, Deuce.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dale and Laveda Harden; and his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Pat Whiteman.
