*Obituary
Vivian Viann Hughes Hardesty, age 56, went to be with Jesus in her childhood home on June 19, 2019.
Viann was born in Searcy, Arkansas and lived a majority of her life in Kensett. She started working in the school system as a teacher’s aid in 1989. She transitioned to teaching high school English in 2000. She had a love of literature that she instilled in her children and her students. She had a loving heart for her students and cared for them as her own; many of those students loved her like a mother. She also had a love for Missionette’s, teaching young ladies to grow into strong women. She also loved being at church and playing piano in the worship group.
Viann is survived by her loving husband Ed Hardesty Jr.; her children, Brandie Peery, Aaron Peery, wife Breanna, Jeremy Hardesty, and Jacob Hardesty. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paiton Peery, Audreeanna Peery, and Lillian Peery. She was the eldest daughter of Roy and Linda Hughes; sister of Nancy Sparks and husband Frank, and sister of Sharon Franks and husband Steve. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many loving family members and friends.
Many things can be said about Viann, but the thing we will remember about her the most is her love. The love she had for her family, friends, students and above all God.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services at 11:00 in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Picken’s Chapel Cemetery in Letona.
