Mrs. Amy Independence McKnight, 67, died yesterday at her home near Brentwood after a short illness. She came to Brentwood from Florida two months ago, and was a member of the First Congregational church.
Survivors are her husband. J.F. McKnight; three daughters, Mrs. Amy K. Gardener, Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Erma L. Elmore, California, and Mrs. Elmina Ruth Williamson, Kansas City, Mo.; three sons, James S. Brentwood, Loyd H., Florida, and Joseph F., Jr., of the Army Air Forces overseas; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at Brentwood under direction of the Nelson-Savage Funeral home.
